I tought I would get a premium bond cause they were safe and you never know you just might win. Now that I think about it I've never really heard or known someone that won. My UK primium bond is my worst proforming bond. Even my corporate bond is doing better. Can anyone help me find more info on these hybrid funds.

Well , for starter's I never really heard of a corporate bond fund or hybrid till this year. My husband and I had two corporate bonds and mutual fund for the last few years. That did pretty good since the markets were down. So this year we were looking for something a bit safer and I did come accross this hybrid fund. Can anyone tell me more ?Is it some kind of incentive scheme set up by the government's. Cause I would like to know if I even qualify .

I HAVE A 10YR OLD AND A 13YR BOTH GETTING READY TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL. AS A MOTHER I REALLY WORRY. I'VE SEE ON TV THAT THERES BEEN A NUMBER OF SWINE FLU CASES IN THE UK. IT'S FLU SEASON AND NEITHER OF MY KIDS HAVE HAD THE FLU SHOT. I WANT TO WAIT TILL THEY GET BETTER FEED BACK FROM SOME OF THESE SWINE FLU MEDICATION LIKE TAMIFLU WHICH DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK ON KIDS. MY KIDS DON'T HAVE ANY FLU SYMPTOMS BUT IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO TO PROTECT THEM FROM GETTING IT?
